What is a SIAMS Inspection?
SIAMS stands for Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools. A SIAMS Inspection focuses on the impact of the Church School's Christian vision on pupils and adults. A Church school should have a vision that allows all pupils to flourish .
What does a SIAMS Inspection look like?
A SIAMS inspection looks to answer the following question: 'How effective is the school's distinctive Christian vision, established and promoted by leadership at all levels, in enabling all pupils and adults to flourish?
This is explored through the seven strands of:
- Vision and Leadership
- Wisdom, Knowledge and Skills
- Character Development: Hope, Aspiration and Courageous Advocacy
- Community and Living Well
- Dignity and Respect
- Impact of Collective Worship
- Effectiveness of Religious Education
